Celebrate the joy of cherry season with a fun-filled countryside escape from Sydney! Our Cherry Picking Day Tour to Orange is the perfect way to enjoy nature, relax, and savour the sweetness of freshly picked cherries straight from the orchard. Spend a memorable day exploring one of New South Wales’ most beautiful farming regions, where rolling hills, crisp country air, and juicy cherries await.
Along the way, enjoy a scenic stop for morning tea at the Hydro Majestic Pavilion (own expense), one of the Blue Mountains’ most iconic heritage landmarks offering panoramic views and great coffee.
Upon arrival at the cherry farm, you’ll have two full hours to pick your own cherries straight from the trees — as fresh as it gets! Take your time to enjoy the orchard, take photos, and taste the sweetness of the season. Pick-your-own prices are approximately $8–10 per kilogram, so you can bring home as much as you like.After cherry picking, the group will visit a local farmgate, where you can shop for fresh local produce, jams, and other regional delicacies. On the return journey, the bus will make a lunch stop (own expense) before heading back to Sydney in the evening.
