6:20pm – Meet Your Guide
Your night adventure begins outside the Kimpton Margot Sydney on Pitt Street. Look out for your friendly local guide waiting beside a mini-coach parked in the bus zone. After a quick introduction, hop aboard and get ready to discover Sydney after dark!
6:30pm – Depart for The Rocks
Travel through the heart of Sydney’s city centre, passing illuminated streets and major landmarks on your way to The Rocks – the historic birthplace of the city.
6:45pm – Sunset at Observatory Hill
Arrive at Observatory Hill, the highest natural point above Sydney Harbour. Here, you'll witness stunning panoramic views as the sun begins to set behind the Blue Mountains, casting a golden glow over the city, Harbour Bridge, and North Sydney. A perfect place to take breathtaking photos as day turns to night.
7:30pm – Drive Through The Rocks
Rejoin the coach and enjoy a short drive through The Rocks. Your guide will share fascinating stories of Sydney’s colonial and convict past, pointing out historic buildings, laneways, and some of the city’s oldest pubs – still buzzing with life today.
7:40pm – Dawes Point Photo Stop
Stop briefly at Dawes Point, near the southern pylon of the Harbour Bridge. This quiet waterfront spot offers a dramatic view of the towering bridge structure above and is ideal for capturing nightfall over the harbour.
8:00pm – Mrs Macquarie’s Point
Next, travel along the edge of the Royal Botanic Garden to reach Mrs Macquarie’s Point – a favourite lookout of Governor Macquarie’s wife in the 1800s. This is one of Sydney’s most iconic photo stops, offering a postcard-perfect view of the city skyline, the Opera House, and the Harbour Bridge all in one frame – especially magical when lit up at night.
8:15pm – Cross the Harbour Bridge to Kirribilli
Enjoy a scenic ride across the illuminated Sydney Harbour Bridge, offering fantastic views as the city lights come alive. Arrive in Kirribilli, a prestigious harbourside suburb and home to the Prime Minister’s official Sydney residence.
8:30pm – Luna Park & Harbour Views
Disembark under the Harbour Bridge and stroll to the waterfront for panoramic nighttime views of the Sydney skyline from the northern shore. Snap photos in front of the famous Art Deco entrance to Luna Park, Sydney’s historic amusement park, glowing with colourful lights and nostalgic charm.
8:50pm – Ferry Ride Across the Harbour
Say goodbye to your guide and board a Sydney ferry for a relaxing return to the city. As you glide across the harbour, soak in the glittering reflections of skyscrapers, the Harbour Bridge, and the Opera House. This magical ferry ride offers a fitting finale to your night-time exploration.
9:03pm – Arrive at Barangaroo Ferry Terminal
The tour concludes at Barangaroo, a vibrant waterfront precinct. From here, you can take a leisurely walk back to your hotel, grab a late bite, or continue exploring Sydney by night.
