Welcome to Hanoi! Upon arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, you’ll be warmly greeted and transferred to your hotel for check-in. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure to relax and acclimate to Vietnam’s capital city.
Overnight in Hanoi
After breakfast, embark on a full-day city tour exploring Hanoi’s historical and cultural highlights:
· Ba Dinh Square – home to the solemn Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (view from outside), the iconic One Pillar Pagoda, and Ho Chi Minh’s Stilt House, where Vietnam’s beloved leader lived.
· Continue to the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first national university, dedicated to Confucius and scholars.
· In the afternoon, visit the beautiful Hoan Kiem Lake, walk across the charming red-painted The Huc Bridge to explore Ngoc Son Temple.
· Shop and explore the bustling maze of the Hanoi Old Quarter, known for its 36 streets filled with local crafts, street food, and culture.
· End the day with a traditional Water Puppet Show, a unique Vietnamese art form telling legends and rural stories through wooden puppets performing over water.
Overnight in Hanoi
After breakfast, depart for a scenic 4-hour drive to Halong Bay, passing rice fields and rural villages of the Red River Delta.
Arrive at the pier and board a traditional wooden junk boat. Enjoy a refreshing welcome drink and a freshly prepared seafood lunch as the boat begins cruising through the stunning limestone karsts of this UNESCO World Heritage Site.
· Sail past islets such as Dinh Huong (Incense Burner), Ga Choi (Fighting Cocks), and Sail Island.
· Participate in cruise activities (depending on the itinerary), which may include kayaking, swimming, or visiting a cave.
In the evening, enjoy a delicious dinner on board. Optional squid fishing or relax under the starlit sky.
Overnight on board
Wake up to the peaceful sunrise over the bay and join a Tai Chi session on the sundeck.
Light breakfast is served, followed by brunch as the cruise slowly returns to port, passing more of Halong’s dramatic limestone scenery.
Disembark and depart by car to Ninh Binh, known as the "Halong Bay on land". Check in to your hotel and unwind.
Overnight in Ninh Binh
After breakfast, visit Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Vietnam during the Dinh and early Le dynasties. Explore the well-preserved temples dedicated to King Dinh and King Le.
Next, embark on a peaceful sampan boat ride through the spectacular landscape of Trang An, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Drift through serene valleys, majestic limestone peaks, and mysterious caves such as Sang Cave, Toi Cave, Ba Giot Cave, and Nau Ruou Cave.
Return to Hanoi in the late afternoon. Free time to explore or relax.

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
